Project 1
This loop came more as a last minute thing, rather than influenced by anything.
It was more of just experimenting with FL Studio. It will be easier to actually do what i want with the second project now that i kinda understand the entire program more.
i do want to experiment with different levels of bases, and ways to make it sound completely different than the typical sounds.

ReplyDeleteI like how you took the bass drum and put it together with abstract sounds. To me this sounded like a mix between a midnight club and a poetry reading club. What i mean by that is that the snaps were like poetry clapping and the bass was like a club back rhythm. I like how you started off with the bass and the snaps and transferred to claps by many claps as your break into the next rhythm with claps and no snaps, then added what sounded like a hit to a trashcan and ended the beat with snaps again.
ReplyDeleteI liked the first pattern, but the second pattern had a long pause it it. I found the pause to be distracting. The last pattern was just fingersnaps? Hmm. That seems like taking the easy way out.
